Globe Valves

Globe valves are used for flow regulation or as block valves.

Its tortuous flow path obliges the valve to act as uni-directional type.

According to body patterns they can be:

Straight, with reduced flow, flat seat and metal disk seated.
Disk can be Flat for on-off closure and Parabolic or Needle types for a fine regulation.
Oblique (Y-type) have a relatively straight flow path and are suitable for on-off or throttling duty on abrasive slurry or highly viscous
