Strainers Filters

Industrial Strainers & Filters;

A filter is any device that separates solid particles from a fluid and therefore a strainer is a filter.

A strainer is used for devices that use a perforated metal plate or wire mesh screen to remove larger particles, while a filter is used for devices with more substantial filter media that removes smaller particles.

Y-Strainers are used where there is a small amount of material to be collected.
Simplex Basket are used when the flow or process can be shut down for a short period of time
Duplex Baskets are used when the flow or process cannot be shut down and must keep flowing. This allows the User to shut one basket for cleaning while the other one keeps operating.
Temporary Strainers are designed for filtering operation at high differential pressure of fluid and for gas handling equipment during commissioning and start-up periods.
